Our students prepare their graduation thesis by working on an undergraduate research or application topic with an advisor they choose at the end of their 3rd year, studying for 2 semesters. As per both department and faculty board decisions, starting from the 2021-2022 academic year, students who do not meet all of the following conditions will not be allowed to take graduation courses (CE 415 - Selected Topics in Civil Engineering, CE 414 - Design Applications in Civil Engineering):
1. Having no courses remaining from first and second year
1. Having completed 150 ECTS course credits
1. Having a minimum GPA of 2.00
Students must prepare their work according to the thesis writing guidelines provided below (**ESKISEHIR TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY-GRADUATE THESIS WRITING GUIDE/August 2022**).
The following terms in the guide will be used as stated:
Graduate School of Education → Faculty of Engineering
Department → Department of Civil Engineering
Division → Geotechnical/Hydraulics/Mechanics/Structure/Construction Materials/Construction Management/Transportation Division
Director of Graduate School of Education → Head of Civil Engineering Department
Master's/Doctorate/Graduate → Undergraduate
